Macbook- Intel core 2 duo, 120GB, 1GB of RAM
When every I change a theme it changes everything. But spotlight. Spotlight will stay there in aqua.


Whats the problem?

There are quite a few themes whose developer did not change the spotlight icon on the menu bar.

Aluminum Alloy and BlackCherry come to mind right off the bat.

Every single one I have tried, even ones that work on friends computers, do not work. look at the attachment. the entire boarder around spot light is unchanged

Looks like you didn't log-out/in or restart your computer, which is needed before some changes take effect.

I did. Many times. It starts out has the theme's spotlight. but then changes to apple's.

Try emptying your shapeshifter cache

Don't have a clue what else you might try.

Regarding your current problem [email protected] is probably a much better place to get some real help. Can't help a lot myself, because I have never had any issues with any of unsanity's software. Consequently, have not had to do any troubleshooting related to their products at all.

In your user folder, go to Library/Caches/Shapershifter, and delete the shapeshifter folder.
