Hey,

i have an imac, osx version 10.4.10....and a phillips 42 inch lcd flat screen tv, i'd like to hook my imac to my tv and be able to view the computer screen on the tv screen.

how can i do this with the ports i have on the imac?

You'll need the Mini DVI to DVI adapter ($19.00 @ Apple)...

Then you'll need to know what connections your LCD has.
Depending on that, you'll either need a DVI-to-DVI or DVI-to-HDMI, etc..

You could also save some money and use a mini-DVI to VGA adapter instead of using a more expensive DVI cable.

Tch tch. Using an analog connection is a no-no.... DVI all the way....
