OS X 10.5 Release date

Does anyone know the release date of OS X 10.5? I know it is not going to be in October. Its already 2nd week of the month and I have heard no word about it. I am waiting to buy my Mac after this comes out.

There are discussions everywhere, and it will be by the end of October, as Apple have said. Leopard is on the verge of going Gold, duplication of DVDs will take a couple of weeks.
