Hi all, I am new to mac. I just bought a mbp with 1gb of ram. I found that 1 gb is not enough for my work(a lot of page outs), so i decided to upgrade the ram. I have 2 options here :
1. Get 1 2gb ram(non apple) and mix them with my current 1gb.
2. Get a 3gb kit such as Corsair VSA3GSDSKIT667D2 3GB KIT APPLE/MAC PC-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 (http://www.onlinevip.com.au/product...d=271&osCsid=aeccf085506b4a0b2a0f1ef9d4328cb8)
and get rid of the current ram.
I believe the 1st option is a bit cheaper, but has anyone tried to mix 2 different brand on mpb? How is the stability?
So, which one do you think is a better option.
