Hi,

I was wondering if there was any way that I could have a shell script (it starts up a server) represented on my desktop such that I could double click it and it would run the script?

Any help is greatly appreciated,

I remember reading something like this.. you could try, setting your execute bits.. actually try macosxhints.com I think is the address. and then do a search. I think it was there that I read how to do that.

Do a get info on the file. There should be a permissions twisty, chose it. Click on the execute box. Then you should be able to double click to make it run.
