Hi all,

I just bought the new Imac, which I know nothing of. Im more of a PC guy.

I have a printer that is connected to my PC. I'd like to use that printer when I'm on my iMac also.

Does the printer has to be compatible with Mac to be able to use it? I don't want to plug the printer to the iMac. I want to use it like a sharing printer.

Please help if possible, because i've tried with entering the IP of the printer and it doesn't want to connect.

Step by step if possible.

Thank you

have you shared it on your PC. If you have I think your iMac will see it.

Look in the FAQ's in this forum and there is an entry on printer sharing with a PC. It is not as simple as you may think!
