And if you don't fancy reading 5 pages, the best advice is:
- No need for Anti-Virus (on OS X, if you're running Windows, it should have AV)
- Enabling your Mac's built in Firewall is good practice.

Virus Protection
Hello,
I now use Sophos Anti-Virus Protection. I started out with Norton however it was big and bulky and seemed to really imbed itself in the OS and slow my system down. I can also say that in the 10 months that I have been using a Mac I have never even had to use the Antivirus software but with that said I would rather be safe then sorry.
