File Recovery Help

I'm trying to recover a file I deleted by accident and I need a free data recovery program. All of the programs I found say you have to pay if you actually want the file recovered but it scans for free. The file I'm looking for is a MS Word document and it was deleted only a few days ago. Thanks for any help.

Sorry to say, it's probably too late. I have not found any free programs like that. And by now, that space on the disk is probably overwritten by now.
