question bout activity monitor terms

what does Nice mean when its giving u a % of cpu use? i only noticed this today when i switched from classic seti at home to the new Boinics version classic used user cpu space by the new one uses Nice and i dont know the difference. Can sum one tell me? Thanks

The nice feature is a way of adjusting the priority assigned to CPU by tasks. Nice means that task if quitting CPU use a bit to allow other tasks to be updated
