I just got an Ipod touch and with the Ipod came these two items. I don't know what they are or what they are used for. Can someone enlighten me?

The big white one is the dock adapter and the clear piece is a stand for your Touch. :)

how do I use the dock adapter? I don't quite understand it. Does it work with the USB cable that connects it to my mac or is it for some other device?

It's an adaptor that fits into apple's universal dock. You have to buy the dock seperate.

what is the dock for? Is it just for making it stand on the desk while its syncing?
