Buy now, upgrade later?

As a first time Mac user, I am thinking of buying a macbook. Can I buy it now from a authorized seller and get a free update to leopard when it comes out because I bought it so close to the release date?

Negotiate it with the re-seller first, just to be sure.

I would honestly wait to buy a MacBook. In the past, Apple did give a free upgrade if you bought your computer really close to the release date, but Apple might not do that this time. If you've waited this long to by a Mac, what's another month? My advice is to wait until January when Apple will come out with a new MacBook model.
