Question for the photographers

Has anyone upgraded from 2GB - 4GB and when using photoshop, lightroom, etc how much of a difference has it made?

Your Mac's Specs
Black Macbook, 2.0ghz C2D, 120gb hdd, 1gb RAM
I have only used up to 1.25gb on my ibook g4. I am getting a 2gb kit in the mail for my black macbook first gen. I have never had a Mac that supported more than 2gb.

From what I have read, Aperture will give you a hard time even if you have 4GBs of RAM... :Shouting: but yes, especially if you're dealing with RAW images, 4GBs will work better than 2.

I bought the Mac pro specifically for photography. I have 6Gb and don't see any delays. Its very quick.
