I am trying to use my television as a display. Running the audio to my television works fine, no problem. But, I am having trouble getting the video signal to my television. I believe I have the proper DVI adapters and from there, I am running my composite, yes sad and lonely composite, to my video input on my television. When I set my television to "Video 1", the input channel I have things hooked up to on my television, only the audio comes through. I have tried the various settings in 'Displays' in system preferences, but with still no luck. I am relatively new to the Apple side of the computing universe, and am looking for any suggestions.
