Hi everyone, I added a new item to my Startup folder (Tomcat actually) and everything is working fine.

I went ahead and removed this startup item (from the startup folder) and now my application continues to load on startup (and I no longer want it to).

Does anyone know how to REMOVE a startup item in OS X?

You'll probably have to read the tomcat instructions on how to uninstall (or disable). Because I don't think a service like that would be a simple matter of placing it into the Startup Items folder.

Oh boy...do I fee like a dork.

I removed the Tomcat startup directory from /Librabry/StartupItems instead of /System/Librabry/StartupItems/

I think everything is all better now.

Thanks for the replies.
