Internet connect on another PC

I have a Mac that is connected to the internet on a LAN cable, I want to connect my laptop to the internet as well using a computer to computer network with my MAC as a host, i've set up a computer to computer network but not sure how to set it so that the mac can be used to access the internet.

In short,....don't do it.

Get a $40 home router to do internet sharing.

if you want to do it. Go to Preferences->Sharing->Internet Tab ...choose your port to share on and click start sharing.

This is not a very secure method, but you can try it.

When my router crashed I used my mini as a router and shared my connection from ethernet and shared it out via USB to my other mini.
