Suddenly out of nowhere, I can set loop points in QuickTime, as well as export to iPod, iPhone, various other formats.. seems like all Pro features are unlocked! Did a recent software update do this?

a few months ago they did mention they will allow users to view videos in full screen with the free version, but I'm not sure about the other features

I think it's because I bought an Apple Pro application. It must've given me Quicktime Pro as a bonus. Nice!

I know you can now go to full screen on the free version, but I don't know about the other features.

I always thought Quicktime should be completely free, or at least the full screen feature. I mean, if you really want full screen, all you had to do was import the video to iTunes anyway.
