iBook (clamshell) Problems!!!

iBook 300MHz 288mb RAM Mac OS X (Panther), iMac G3 500MHz (Panther), iMac G3 350MHz (Tiger), iPod
Hey ya'll,

just go my iBook, it has linux on it and I'm trying to get Mac OS on there. I put the OS 9 disc in and it couldn't find the HD for disk utility... I really don't know what do to, I can't get into Liux cause it has a password, which me and the old owner do not know....?

any ideas?

If it's the original install disk for the clamshell — not for another model of Mac — or is a retail version of OS 9, the disk should boot the Mac if you restart while holding down the C key (might take a while).

From there, you would be able to wipe the disk and install 9.
