Just dowloaded 3 movies from iTunes - I can't burn them?

I just purchased 3 movies from iTunes for my kids (they are short films) and I thought I could transfer them to a DVD so that they could watch the movies on the DVD player connected to the TV. Is this not possible??? The movies are in .m4v format. Can they only watch these on my Mac? If so, glad I found out before I downloaded full Disney movies!

HELP!!!

:::sigh:::: Ok, can somebody explain Apple DRM? So, basically why would anybody download a movie from iTunes (for $14.99) to not be able to watch it on their TV?? I guess I learned the hard way.

You CAN watch it on your TV, you just need to get an AppleTV ;)

The DRM on the songs is somewhat manageable, the DRM on the videos is just draconion.

Unfortunately basically all digital movie downloads from Apple and all other companies currently have extremely crippling drm.

Usually you're restricted to your computer or "approved" playback devices.
