Internet Explorer 5.5

I am planning on usin NewZapp however they do not support any browsers on my mac........They want IE 5.5 or above.
I there anyway I can use or amend a browser to make it act like IE.

I have tried Icab however still could not get in.

Am I going to have to use a pc ?

I appreciate any help!.......tried Safari,Icab,Firefox,Netscape

If you want to go through with it, you can install IE 7 through Crossover or Parallels. Crossover does not need Windows, while Parallels requires a copy of Windows.

Cheers..........done that.

They are working on a version for Firefox.

No time at work and already paid

I've got a nice flat monitor etc may have to buy a pc and hide it in a corner........

There is an App that will unlock the hidden "Debug" menu in Safari, I believe it is called "Safari Enhancer" or some such. Within that Debug menu is a user agent option that will allow Safari to identify itself to sites as any number of different user selectable browsers, including most flavors of Windows IE.

It only works on Safari 2.x though.

FYI, you can install Classic for your Powerbook G4 and run IE 5.5 in there... that was the last version of IE for mac... (or does it run within OS X itself?)

I've got 5.2 on the mac at the moment but have been unable to find 5.5 for the mac it would work on my system....

Thanks a lot......ended up doing at work using crossover....at least I know now I can use a mac at home and get it done.
