I have an old 15.4 MBP core duo 2.0 MHZ with the LCD display, me and my friends have been noticing recently that, even at maximum, the screen is too dim. My eyes get tired faster than before.
I've searched many forums but haven't found anything substantial on that issue.
Is it a known one?
I'm using my computer a lot, a few hours a day, maybe it just wears down?

by the way, the video card is ATY RadeonX1600, 256 mb, if it helps.

Thanks a bunch for any contribution.

Display brightness wearing down after continuous use is a common feature of LCD displays. I can hardly see through my iBook display these days. However, if its really bad then it can be replaced if under warranty...

@raptor: Its a MBP. Only the new MBPs released in June have the LED backlit displays...
