Hi all

I am using new Alumium imac 20" with the new alumiun USB keyboard.
I found that
1)
my imac can not enter FireWire Target Disk mode when
I Press T during startup. It just enter the Mac OX directly.

2)
my imac can not enter mode when
I Press D during startup. It also jump to the Mac OX directly.
(I have already insert the system Disk in the DVD rom)

Did any brother have the same issue on your new alumiun Imac 20"

Thanks
Hing

Check that the firmware is not password protected?
A new firmware update might help.
Also, removing and re-adding keyb from USB port sometimes helps.

Your Mac's Specs
iMac Core Duo 20", iBook G4, iPhone 8GB :)
1) Try going to system preferences and then select Startup Disk. and then select Boot in Target Disk Mode. See if it works that way.

2) As for booting from DVD, I have always used the "C" button on the keyboard. Also the Option key works.
