Hi, As I am new to Mac I am new to this 'Logic Board' not 'Motherboard' Idea.

Why is it called a Logic Board?

Because way back when, there was a "Logic Board" which included everything to make the computer work, and an "Analogue Board" to drive the display. Now the analogue board has gone, but the term logic board has stuck... it's a more logical term than motherboard anyway, don't you think?
