Apple Remote, Bootcamp and Powerpoint

I have installed windows on my macbook through bootcamp because I had bought Office 2007 on the cheap (theultimatesteal.co.uk - if you're interested). I was wondering, however, if it was possible to use the Apple Remote in Windows to use with PowerPoint - I am a teacher I this would be extremely helpful.
