What games can the basic Macbook pro play?

Im going to get the first weakest of the 3 macbook pro's and just wondered what games can it play?

It should be able to handle most newer games with the upgraded video card in it, despite the fact that it is 128mb.

Counter Strike Source

Most likely.. It has an 8600M graphics gpu in it.

My gaming PC has a 6800 series gpu in it and it can play both of those games at very high quality.

Seeing as how the MBP has a gpu 2 families above mine, I'm assuming it should be able to play those two games, if not more of the newer ones at a decent graphics level/resolution.

Oh it will run games just fine. Even the latest of the latest.... It's just that the 256MB MBPs ones are "better" performers... The screen resolution isn't much for a 8600GT to output...

I played Doom3 it was fine, but for some reason
I can't run football manager...

Also approxiamately how much does it take to upgrade a GMA graphic cards in mac book to ATI X1800 seires +?

at least $1500.

That's probably the going price of last gen's used MBP's and you're only getting the x1600

so. Basically. It's impossible.
