Free trial, perhaps?

You're off to a good start, anyway. There are plenty of free tutorials online, if you're interested. Just do a search for "Photoshop Tutorials" and see what comes up.

There are lotsa good books for the short cuts for cool effects out there. I started out with the down and dirty tricks series.

A reflection would look nice. Like perhaps make a layer underneath the button layer, and make it white with an opacity of 20 or so, and have it only go up to the middle of the image. Then make a new layer based off of the button, but flip it, and apply a gradient while adjusting opacity.

Looks good for a first wallpaper.. I recommend Photoshop CS2 for Dummies. It's around $20 and it's a great reference manual that explains everything in pretty simple terms.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I've been flat out with Uni lately and not had time to do anymore photoshop work but I will check those tutorials on out and give it another shot soon :)
