The case is hideous, but the pice is good. The HDD seems like a good deal too. My local FRY's has 500Gb Seagates (e-SATA) for $109.

Is there any way to hook up an eSATA to the MBP? I read that they have 3 GB/s transfers on them.

I'm not sure if anyone makes a PCMCIA e-SATA card for the MPB line or not. Otherwise you can only put it in a compatible USB 2 or FW 400/800 drive case. I'd go with the FW 800 case.
