Hi,

is there any airport express equivalent? All I want is wireless internet but only for my MBP. I don't need the airtunes or other features that come with it. The thing is I already own a wired router and I don't want to spend a lot just to convert everything to wireless. I need something like this :

Internet > Wired router > *airport express equivalent* > MBP

Your cheapest option is to just replace your wired router with a wireless version.

Check the price of a WAP54G wireless access point vs a WRT54G wireless router. Pretty much identical products, but the WRT54G will likely be cheaper and it does more.

Agreed as most Wireless Access Points cost as much or more than most good routers. I would just get a new router with WiFi built in.
