Using Webcam On Msn Messenger

I have downloaded microsoft messenger for mac and i dont know how to use my webcam that is bulit in on my mac for msn ?

Can anyone tell me how i can use it ?

Msn Messenger for Mac does not support video or audio calls. ichat does though ..and Skype.

but can i add ppl from msn on to my ichat ?

No, but you can use Adium --

With Adium you can be logged into msn, yahoo, aol, and many other instant messaging programs instantaneously -- but there is no video or audio support, so you can only text with it, like Messenger for Mac -

Adium is good if you have friends say on yahoo and messenger, and you want to chat with them from one app - Adium

ichat is really an american thing, geared towards AOL users anways --

aMsn should work. If you have a hardware router, you'll have to tinker with it for a while, but it works.

get aMSN from - http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/amsn/amsn-0.97RC1.dmg

then open the correct ports on ur router and away u go

It's been two years since this thread's last post... several people have tried and used aMSN since that time.

Do a search on the forums and you'll find a plethora of threads about it.
