wow, you painted it? With what? How did it turn out? (paint jobs can be very deceptive in pictures.)

I completely took it apart and took the faceplate off. I also painted the center button, (as you can see). I went back afterwards and painted the little white piece that surrounds the dock connector. I painted it with Dupli-Color Automotive Paint. The color is General Motors Lime Green... its just an auto paint in a spray can. It turned out surprisingly well. The only thing i don't like is around the screen. Its a bit sketchy there. Im going to put 3M Film on it tomorrow to protect it. (I am worried it is going to start peeling around the screen.) The dock turned out amazing. I took it apart to paint it also.

It's looks pretty cool IMHO. It looks like you painted over the wheel where the arrow and play/pause and menu buttons were labeled. That's a very nice touch to give it a nice clean original look.
