There's nothing stopping them from making it, so it's hard to say. I would rather have an iPhone over the Touch. I know they have the same screen, but I think the Touch has some issues to work out. I've played with the iPhone at the Apple store a lot and the screen is very responsive to touch. The Touch, however, seemed to have some trouble registering my touches. I tried 3 different units and found I had to be very deliberate and hit the screen several times often.
