Finally its nearly October

Good lord I've been waiting MONTHS to buy my iMac..

Anyway.. Living in the UK, can I still purchase Apple Care for my UK iMac from the US, taking advantage of the exchange rate, and use it ok on my iMac?

I assume its just a CD sized pamphlet with a code on it, and you register it online.. so really you don't even need the pamphlet - just the code?

£140 from Apple UK, or £65 from the States is a bit of a no-brainer if the code will be valid..!

Well when I had to register I needed a copy of the bill for the apple care, as well as the bill for the iMac... just so you know.

Thanks goobimama. If you don't mind me asking, what info did they need from the receipt of the Apple care?

Doesn't that mean all people selling these over eBay are now selling useless products?

They just asked for a scan of the bill of both the items. I didn't however register it through the online thing. I called up Applecare and proceeded from thereon...

Perhaps not, but if you have an iMac, you have a camera. I've used the camera to perform as an impromtu scanner many times.

Quite a useful bit of kit, really.

yeah well i didnt say i have an DSLR, compact digi camera and umpteen camera phones... stop giving apple ideas to screw me out of 60 quid
