Connecting iMac to Tower

I have a tower and an iMac and I have had the tower mounted on the iMac before through some combo of starting up and pressing "P" I do believe, but I am trying it now and it's not working. What do I need to do?

I have Photoshop on the tower and need to access it ASAP.

If you connect the tower to the iMac via Firewire and then boot the tower while holding down the "T" key, the tower will boot into Target Firewire mode and the it's disk will appear on the iMacs desktop.
