I just erased my HD and installed my first try at Panther, but i now realize Appleworks is gone, what happened?

my new g5 didnt come with it either. mabey it is just deeply hidden?

Appleworks only comes on the eMac, iMac and the iBook pre-installed. It is not part of the OS. If you have the restore CDs from any one of this system you can get from them.
