I'm wondering if there is a way to pick a hot corner that would force the display to sleep/go black? I have set one to turn on a screen saver, but sometimes I'd just like to force the screen to sleep instantly. Like tonight I was importing CD's to itunes while watching TV. The screen saver was just so bright and it seems like a waste of energy. I would have liked to force the display to sleep sooner that the timer in Preferences will do it.

Thanks!

Also if you have the latest version of SizzlingKeys installed it lets you assign a hotkey to put the display to sleep.

Thank you! The F1 trick was easy. I'll look up those widgets later prob. I appreciate it!
