I've recently bought CrossOver, and installed it. I wanted to use it and it asked for this thing in X11 called quartz-wm, it asked for my mac OS X install CD which I cannot find at the moment and so I downloaded X11 from the Apple website. When I tried to install X11 on Mac, it said "You cannot install X11 on this volume. Newer software already exists on your computer." So I decided to run CrossOver without quartz-wm and got this error:
"Failed to Initialize"
and it said something about vital software not being available.
Don't recommend Boot Camp or Parallels Desktop to me since I am using CrossOver because they were too much hassle, I hated rebooting for Boot Camp or having to share are partition (my mac has very little space) plus installing Windows XP was just too annoying for me. Parallel's just went too slow for me.
Also, I use a standard white MacBook.
Edit: Oops, could someone move this, I put this topic in the wrong place.
