... desperately needed.
My powerbook crashed with my external LaCie HD attached and now it won't mount.
Disk utility says it can not repair due to exit problem and Disk Warrior says it can't mend because it's a windows platform! Which is obviously wasn't previously. I tried it on a PC and still won't mount.

Can anyone please help?!

The only things I can think of would be a data recovery service which is very expensive or find someone who is a linux wizard. Linux has a way of pulling data off of some drives that other OSs can't access.

If the crash is logical then you can try out Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data Recovery software. It provides data recovery from damaged, deleted or corrupted mac volumes. It supports HFS, HFS+, HFSX and HFS Wrapper file systems. Recover data from inaccessible internal and external hard drives including Lacie, USB, FireWire and other storage media.
