Hi there.
I'm having problems with a new PCI device that I'm trying to install on an older g4 PPC (400mhz).
I've installed the driver. Added the PCI device and it's not working properly. When I look under the system profiler it only gives the most basic 4 lines of info but not a detailed description. On the PC you can use the 'add new hardware' to make the puter scan for devices is there anything similar on a mac?
The PCI device is a motu 324 trying to connect up a 24i for the G4, though i guess my question isn't specific about the card itself as I'm just trying to see the process of troubleshooting a failed PCI card installed.
