I Know I Must Be Doing Something Wrong, But...

I can't seem to get Apple Loops to playback once they've been dragged to the timeline in Logic Studio 8. They play just fine in preview while in the list on the right, but once dragged into the timeline no go.

I've got Audio setup as built-in line output/line input to use my external speakers and a Roland FP5 patched in as a midi controller AND as a sound source.

TIA....

does it say the file cannot be found or does it just not play ?

check the volume levals (basic but key!)
