I've been using my 5.5 ipod 80gb on a windows pc for about 10 months but have recently converted to a macbook pro. One of the flaws of it though is the lack of usb ports so i thought i'd use firewire to connect the ipod however when i plugged it in, it said it didn't support firewire for transferring songs.

I've searched and can't find anything so any help would be really appreciated! :)
thanks

The newer iPods don't do firewire. There is no way around it. Get a USB hub and use that, or lose some other USB devices. You don't have much choice here.

ok thanks for the quick reply. I'll probably try and get hold of a mini usb hub then.
