I Made The Switch!

I made the switch this week, i bought my first mac ever! a g4 533mhz Digital with 1 gig of ram. I am running osx 10.4, I love it the interface is so nice and crisp, I have a few questions

I am going to add on to this computer, can i put any dvd/cd drive in it or does it have to be a certain type? what about drivers? how would i go about loading them?

Also if i ran into a 733mhz processor would i be able to swap it?

You need to check for compatbility first as Mac OS X supplies the default drivers. Not all drives will work, to check use System Profiler.

I am not sure that you can just swap processors in Macs.

I am also trying to drop a new processor in a G4 power mac. Look at compatible ones at OWC.
