I have the mini-DVI to S-Video/Composite Video connecter. What I want to do is watch video on my TV, and still be able to do things on my MacBook. Yeah, I know I'm ghetto, I have an old school TV with no DVI inputs. I hate my life too, but there's nothing I can do about that right now ;D .

The specific video file I am trying to watch is in .avi format. I use VLC to watch this, no problems. BUT when I try to put the video fullscreen on the TV, it goes into fullscreen on my Macbook, and leaves the TV with my background, doing nothing.

Anyone have any ideas to get VLC to play full screen on my TV instead of my MacBook?
