It's a 6 month old mac book pro, and this is a very recent issue, past 2 days I noticed. If power cord comes out, it shuts off and I lose everything I'm working on and have to boot up from scratch. BUt my battery is fully charged. Any ideas besides taking in with my apple care? Because I really need to keep working right now and not be computerless during repair time.

THANKS!

The three most likely culprits are probably a failing battery or a failing logic board or dc input board. For any one of those three, the system will have to go in for repairs. =/

Hehe. That's good, I don't need to be shot right now ;)

Seriously though, I'd wait and see what a few other people have to say. There may be some software thing or something that I'm not aware of.

What kind of number do you have for the Full Charge Capacity for the battery? Check Apple=> About this Mac=> Hardware => Power.
