I do not recommend Transmission at all. Azureus is best.

Really? Transmission worked great for me. What is your opinion on why its not a good client? I've tried Azureus and like that too.

I use Tomato Torrent - very minimal. Doesn't hog system resources.

Az is insane, don't like it. Never liked it on the PC either. Sure it has a lot of (useless) features, but eh.

I don't really DL torrents anymore anyway.

I tried downloading a few things. It would say there would be 40 mins left for 3 days!! I think out of 7 files I tried, only one finished after 2 days of leaving my computer on. It would also say I'd be 60% completed even if I had 2MB of 6MB downloaded for example.
I've used Azureus a few times and download times are a lot faster.
I have a high-speed cable connection so I know it's not my connection that's acting up, it's definitely the app. I've also downloaded the same file on both apps. I had no trouble with Azereus and had all the trouble (see above) with Transmission.

Interesting. I've had no problems whatsoever using Transmission. I've tried most all of them by now, and I keep returning to Transmission because I appreciate its simplicity.

Right, but we're discussing torrent clients.

Anyway, you do know that there are LEGAL torrents that you can download? BitTorrent is just a protocol for transmitting small/large files over the internet. The actual files itself determine the legality at hand.

Whatever his purpose is for using BT, it's his own choice. As long as he doesn't mention or ask questions regarding to it, I don't see any harm. But the question is, do the moderators see any harm? Hm...
