Hello,
I've got an imac connected to the internet using built-in ethernet, and a macbook connected using airport. the network is fine - I can fileshare or print, no problem, and according to all the preferences and set-up bits in network and sharing, and according to internet connect, it should be working properly. However, when I open either Firefox or Safari, it tries to load for ages, then times out. It's like it can see the internet, but can't find anything. I've had it set up exactly the same for about three months and it was working perfectly until about two weeks ago. I don't think I changed anything and the internet still works on the imac. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
