So recently the plastic on my screen in the lower left corner where the hinge is, began coming apart. the plastic that is around the lcd screen is "peeling" off of the plastic that makes up the white glossy exterior.

I bought the apple care plan, and I was wondering if this is covered? and if so, how do I go about getting it fixed?

If you have AppleCare, call Apple.

If you have AppleCare, use it. This would be the best time to call them. This is a case where we can't really do anything about it.

The display bezel is attached by several small gray clips. Normal usage can cause those clips to become, well unclipped. You could try opening up your machine to a 90 degree angle, placing your display on it's back, flat on a soft surface (cloth on a table) and press it down with your thumbs.

Hopefully it should snap back on. If by chance one of the clips came out, you might be SOL. Double sided tape has worked for me in the past.

Good luck
