Thats awesome!, I wanna find a g3 just so I can make one now, though I'd probably make it more curvy to fit with the imac curvy feel :)

Modders are simply amazing. Kevin Rose built a Mac, with a PC case, with Mac parts in it. Then, he bought a littlepc, stuck it in one of the CD drives, got some belkin cables, and he has a G4/PC hybrid, using 1 keyboard, one mouse, and one display.

Okay hot off the wire:

G5 to power new iMac
July 14 - 17:06 EDT During Apple's third quarter conference call, CFO Peter Oppenheimer revealed that the next generation iMac, which will begin shipping in September, will be powered by the PowerPC G5 processor. He said an IBM chip shortage was behind the delay of the new Apple desktops. Earlier this month, Apple quietly announced that it is no longer taking orders for the current iMac and that a new model will be introduced in September.

So the question now, what will the new design look like?
