How to Calibrate the battery? And more.

Curious how to properly calibrate my macbrook pro battery, i just received it.

And also, what are programs I dont need? Is there anyway to make my computer run smoother?

for the battery, you charge it all the way, when it gets to 100% unplug it and run on battery power untill it shuts off on its own. then charge it all the way and you should be good. onyx is a nice little program to boost performance. hope this helps a little.
