Hi

Is there a way to set the ibook to stay on when the screen is closed instead of going onto standby? I want to plug in an external LCD and close the screen and have it still running!

you have to use an external keyboard as well. There was just a thread about this two days ago. Do a quick search and you'll find all the info you'll need.

An external (USB) mouse will do. Just click the mouse and it will wake back up. You can't do too much w/o a keyboard, but if you just want to watch a movie on an external display, a mouse is all you really need.
