smart folder - "volume cannot be found"

Hey guys and gals. Hope this is the right sub forum but I'm having a small problem with a smart folder I create. Whenever I open finder and click on it it says "volume cannot be found". I can't even delete it or anything. No big deal on the folder but I'd to at least be able to delete the folder from the Finder menu sidebar. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried control clicking on the smart folder and selecting remove from sidebar?

Yep control clicking will not do anything at all. It doesn't even acknowledge a CNTL-click.
