Sheesh. I always use a soft tissue paper with plain water to clean LCD displays..

I worked in a tinting shop and they used these Which don't allow any lint from them unlike paper towels.

I use cleaning wipes specially made for tft diplays and can't complain.
They're cheap, come in a dispenser and have an antistatic effect.
By the way I have recently published my personal cleaning ritual (which is kinda extensive but it works for me).

Regarding the wipes be careful to choose a brand with no alcohol in the solution though...the alcohol can damage your glossy display.

Something that I use that hasn't failed me yet: a really soft t-shirt.

Never spray a display / lens cleaner directly onto a LCD screen. Always spray onto a lint-free cloth, and then wipe the display screen.

I use wipes approved by Apple.

I always wondered how to clean the screen on my macbook.
I used the cleaning cloth for my sunnies, works fine. As long as you didn't sneeze on your monitor ha ha

It should be noted; that is a direct quote from apple... If you go into help and look it up, your mac will actually tell you to use a soft cloth and room temp water :)

The "antistatic" makes this thing sound like a miracle.

No matter how many times you clean, the dust ALWAYS comes back!
